SketchUp Procedures
SketchUp Procedures are an evolution of existing workflows within SketchUp, made possible through Procedural Tools. The geometry created or edited using these tools results in non-destructive Procedural Components.
What’s the difference between destructive and non-destructive workflows? Destructive editing directly alters the original geometry while non-destructive editing preserves the original geometry and allows you to edit the preserved geometry later and and automatically apply those changes.
You can edit, nest, and reuse the components created with Procedural tools in the same way you would other components in SketchUp — changing the original drawing, or making adjustments in Entity Info.
You can access Procedures by clicking Procedures in the Menu, or by enabling the Procedural Tools toolbar from View > Toolbars. You can dock the Procedural Tools toolbar in the SketchUp interface just like any other toolbar.

To get started with Procedural Tools, take a look at the following articles:
Duplicating with Copy Along – Copy Along (icon) duplicates Groups or Components along a path with adjustable spacing.

Extruding with Follow Me – Follow me (icon) extrudes a face along a path to create a 3D shape while retaining existing Materials and Attributes.

Modeling Complex Shapes with Solid Tools – Model complex shapes using other solids to add or subtract from your geometry while preserving the attributes of the original target.
