Assigning Products

The Trimble Admin Console (TAC) can help you assign one of the SketchUp licenses you have purchased to a user.

The Admin Console offers two ways to help you assign a license to a user.

Option 1

Note: Option 1 is not yet available for all SketchUp accounts. If you need to assign a product to a user and can’t access the stops in Option 1, see Option 2 or go to Assigning Products for alternate instructions.
  1. Click Purchases and select Subscriptions & Licenses.
  2. Locate the subscription you want to assign a user to and click the context menu ().
  3. Select Manage Subscriptions.
  4. Under Assigned Licenses click Assign Licenses.
  5. Enter the user’s email address you want to assign that license to.
  6. Click Save Assignments.
  7. The user will receive an email letting them know they now have access to the products in that SketchUp subscription.

Option 2

  1. Click Users.
  2. Use the search bar or browse through the list of users to locate the user you want to assign a license to.
  3. Click the context menu next to that user ().
  4. Select Edit User.
  5. Under Assigned Licenses select Assign Licenses.
  6. Use the search bar or browse through the list of subscriptions to locate the subscription you want to assign that user to.
  7. Check the box next to that subscription and click Save Assignments.
  8. The user will receive an email letting them know they now have access to the products in that SketchUp subscription.
