Assigning Products
The Trimble Admin Console (TAC) can help you assign one of the SketchUp licenses you have purchased to a user.
The Admin Console offers two ways to help you assign a license to a user.
Option 1
Note: Option 1 is not yet available for all SketchUp accounts. If you need to assign a product to a user and can’t access the stops in Option 1, see Option 2 or go to Assigning Products for alternate instructions.
- Click Purchases and select Subscriptions & Licenses.
- Locate the subscription you want to assign a user to and click the context menu (
).
- Select Manage Subscriptions.
- Under Assigned Licenses click Assign Licenses.
- Enter the user’s email address you want to assign that license to.
- Click Save Assignments.
- The user will receive an email letting them know they now have access to the products in that SketchUp subscription.
Option 2
- Click Users.
- Use the search bar or browse through the list of users to locate the user you want to assign a license to.
- Click the context menu next to that user (
).
- Select Edit User.
- Under Assigned Licenses select Assign Licenses.
- Use the search bar or browse through the list of subscriptions to locate the subscription you want to assign that user to.
- Check the box next to that subscription and click Save Assignments.
- The user will receive an email letting them know they now have access to the products in that SketchUp subscription.
