Introducing the 3D Warehouse Interface

3D Warehouse sets you up for success by providing all the tools you need to start discovering the creations of other SketchUp users or upload and manage your own.

3D Warehouse Home Page

The first thing you will see when you open 3D Warehouse is the 3D Warehouse home page. The 3D Warehouse home page is dynamic with featured content and highlighted brands updated frequently. Most basic functionality will not change.

Before logging in, some functionality is not available. After logging in, all 3D Warehouse functionality is available to users. For example, all users can search for and open models but only logged-in users can upload and like models, create collections, and access and maintain a content library with their models, collections, and materials.

Let's get started with some basic 3D Warehouse functionality:

Upload - Click Upload () to add your models and materials to 3D Warehouse. You can make them available to other 3D Warehouse users, or private so they are only visible to yourself. Learn more about uploading content to 3D Warehouse in Uploading Models.
Search - You can use Search to find models and materials uploaded to 3D Warehouse using keywords, phrases, or images. For more information, see Searching for Models and Materials.
Account Information - Click your name in the upper right to easily access the SketchUp Content Library, your profile and 3D Warehouse settings, and your content library. For more information, see Accessing the SketchUp Content Library, Managing Your 3D Warehouse Profile, and Accessing Your Content Library.
Your Content Overview - If you've already started uploading and saving models in 3D Warehouse, you can see and access all of your uploads and collections here.

Model Details

Once you've found a model that catches your eye you can see more information about that model on its details page. The details page includes tools, a detailed description, and all the information you need to make sure that model is the right fit for your project.

Each model's details page contains the following sections:

Name and Description -The model’s creator and name, category that the model belongs to, description if available, and ways to View in AR or Download the model.
Quick Links - A row of icons you can use to like the model, add it to a collection, embed a link to it, share the model, or report it, if needed.
Model Info - A list of basic specifications like polygon count, unit of measurement, and how many materials were used.
Related Content - Models and, possibly collections, that are similar to this one
Comments - Comments on this model from other 3D Warehouse users.
Links - A model's creator can add links to other websites you can find them.
