End of Support - Intel Mac and Windows 10

Zuletzt aktualisiert: Okt. 21, 2026•2 Min. gelesen.

Each new version of SketchUp aims to leverage modern hardware and software architecture and to ensure long-term platform stability. With that in mind, beginning with SketchUp 2027.0, Intel Mac devices and the Windows 10 operating system are no longer supported.

End of Support for Intel Mac

SketchUp 2027.0 and all future releases will require Apple silicon for macOS installation. We’ve made this decision to align with Apple’s support policy. Intel Mac devices will no longer be able to install SketchUp, and SketchUp will no longer support Mac devices from 2019 or earlier.

If you are currently using an Intel Mac:

  • You will not be able to install SketchUp 2027.0 or any future updates.

  • SketchUp 26.2 will remain a fully supported legacy version for your device. You can continue using SketchUp 26.2 or any earlier supported version. For more information on which versions are supported, see End of Support Policy.

  • If you would like to install the newest versions of SketchUp, upgrade to newer Mac hardware.

End of Support for Windows 10

SketchUp 2027.0 and any future releases will require Windows 11. This means that Windows 10 and earlier operating systems will not be supported. While SketchUp may still install on Windows 10, as an unsupported operating system, you may see unexpected instabilities. This change aligns with Microsoft’s Windows support policy.

To successfully install and run future releases of SketchUp, make sure that you update your operating system to Windows 11.
