Managing Collections

3D Warehouse collections help you create libraries of models you've created, those created by others, or both. Collections can be public or private. Anyone can view public collections, which appear in search results. Private collections are only visible to you.  

You can find your collections in the My Collections tab of the My Content page. A tile represents each collection you’ve created.

In My Collections,  you can create, edit, and organize your collections. For more information on creating and editing collections, see Creating and Editing Collections. 

Accessing My Collections 

To access My Collections, follow these steps:

  1. Go to 3dwarehouse.sketchup.com and sign in using your Trimble ID.

  2. In 3D Warehouse, click your display name.

  3. Select My Content. The My Content page appears with the My Models tab selected.

  4. Select the My Collections tab. 

Deleting Collections

You can delete individual, multiple, or all collections. 

To delete a single collection, click the trash can icon (icon-discard.png).

To delete multiple collections, follow these steps:

  1. Select each collection you want to delete.

  2. After selecting at least one collection, icons representing multi-collection tasks replace the default icons on the upper right of the My Collections tab.

  3. Click Delete items (icon-discard.png).

  4. In the confirmation box, click Yes. 

The icons representing multi-collection tasks will revert to the default 3D Warehouse interface. 

Delete all Collections

To delete all collections, follow these steps:

  1. Click the check box for any collection tile.

  2. Click the check box above the top row of tiles, selecting all collections.

  3. Click Delete items (icon-discard.png).

  4. In the confirmation box, click Yes.
    The icons representing multi-collection tasks will revert to the default 3D Warehouse interface. 

Filtering and Sorting Collections

You can use the My Collections tab to organize collections by filtering and sorting them. If you click Grid view or List view, the appearance and information for the collections change accordingly.

To filter collections, start typing in the search field. As you type, 3D Warehouse narrows down which collections are visible.
