Adding Content to Collections

You can add content to collections, such as models, other collections, and materials. 

The procedure for adding content varies based on where you find it: 

• When searching 3D Warehouse

• Within your own content library

• Your Liked Content

Content can belong to more than one collection. After you add content to a collection, the bottom of the tile for it indicates the number of Models (), Materials (), and Collections () for it.

Adding Collections

Adding a collection to another collection can further help organizing related content. For instance, a user with a collection of patio models might add a collection with outdoor furniture models. This enables them to open the patio and outdoor furniture models through a single collection. 

Searchable Content

You can add content you find in 3D Warehouse to collections. To add searchable content to a collection, follow these steps:

1. Select the model, collection, or material you want to add to a collection and open its details page.

2. Click Collections () and select Add to Collection.
   
    

   

3. In the Add to Collection drop-down, select a collection from the list. For help finding a collection, use the search bar.
   
   3D Warehouse adds this collection to the target collection.
   
   

   Note: If the content already belongs to a collection, that collection will be unavailable in the list.

   
   

   

Uploaded Content

You can add models and materials that you have uploaded to your content library to collections. 

To add uploaded models to a collection, follow these steps:

1. On the My Models tab, select a model to open its details page.

2. Click Collections () and select Add to Collection. 

3. In the Add to Collection drop-down, select a collection in the list. For help finding a collection, use the search bar.
   
   3D Warehouse adds the model to the target collection.

To add uploaded materials to a collection: 

1. Select My Materials.

2. Select a material to open its details page.

3. Click Collections () and select Add to Collection.

4. In the Add to Collection drop-down, select a collection in the list. For help finding a collection, use the search bar. 
   
   3D Warehouse adds the material to the target collection.

Liked Content

You can add models, collections, and materials you have liked to collections. Clicking Add to Likes  () on a content details page adds the content to your Liked Content page in your content library for later use. 

To add liked content to a collection:

1. Click Liked Content.
   
   

   

2. Select the tab that corresponds to the type of content you want to add to a collection. For example, select Liked Materials to view materials you have liked.

3. Select a content tile to open the content’s details page.

4. Click Collections () and select Add to Collection.

5. In the Add to Collection drop-down, select a collection in the list. For help finding a collection, use the search bar. 
   
   3D Warehouse adds the content to the target collection.
