SketchUp Subscription Bundles

The SketchUp subscription bundle includes SketchUp Shop, an enhanced version of SketchUp for Web. This bundle is the first and only bundle available now, but we plan to offer more bundles in the future. With these subscription bundles, you can access increased functionality specific to your needs at an affordable price.

The SketchUp Shop bundle includes:

• New features in SketchUp for Web exclusive to the Shop bundle but which are already available in the SketchUp Pro for Windows and Mac application. These features include:
  • Solids Tools
  • Improved importing & exporting functionality
  • Organization options using the Outliner
  • Increased capability with Materials
• Unlimited storage and collaboration through Trimble Connect Business.

How many SketchUp Bundles are there to choose from?

Presently there is only the SketchUp Shop Bundle, though we have plans for additional bundles at a later time.

What happens if I cancel my subscription?

When you sign up for a subscription you’ll prepay for the full term of your annual subscription. If you choose to cancel then your subscription will not automatically renew. However, you will be able to use the applications in the Shop Bundle for the remainder of your annual subscription term. There is no partial refund if you cancel before the end of the subscription term.

What is the subscription term?

With the release of SketchUp Shop, the only available subscription term is annual. You pay once when you start and you’re entitled to use all the features contained within the SketchUp Shop Bundle for one full year. We’re constantly looking to improve how the subscription model works and may offer different length subscription terms in the future.

When will my SketchUp subscription expire?

If you have canceled your subscription, you will lose access to products and services at the end of the last day of your subscription term. If your credit card information has changed then the SketchUp Subscription may expire and not auto-renew.

Can subscriptions be transferred to other users?

A subscription can be transferred to another end user once every 30 days.

Can I get a refund if I choose to cancel my subscription?

You have 14 days from the date of purchase to request a full refund for your SketchUp subscription. After 14 days, you cannot obtain a refund.

I already own SketchUp Pro. Do I get access to subscription bundles as well?

No. SketchUp subscription bundles are independent of the SketchUp Pro perpetual license purchases. Similarly the SketchUp Maintenance and Support Plan does not cover support for SketchUp for Web or SketchUp Shop. We hope to offer something in the future which includes both SketchUp Pro and a SketchUp Bundle in a combined price.

Is there a trial available for SketchUp bundles?

Not at this time. There isn’t any sort of trial for the SketchUp Bundles. You’re able to use the free version of SketchUp for Web to try the core functionality. To try the advanced features available in SketchUp Shop, you can always try SketchUp Pro if you haven’t already. The advanced features in SketchUp Shop are available in SketchUp Pro.

If I save my files to the cloud, what happens if I decide to stop paying my subscription fees?

After your subscription ends your files are accessible from Trimble Connect in a read-only manner. You will be able to open these files in Sketchup Free but they will become watermarked like all SketchUp Free files are today.
