With the release of SketchUp Pro 2015 our licenses are platform agnostic and can be used with SketchUp on either Windows or OS X. If you're using an older version it isn't possible to convert your license but you can upgrade using our License Wizard.

Please be sure you're using the correct license for the version of SketchUp you've installed as they are version specific. You can identify the license version you have by the beginning letter of the serial number, as indicated below:

Additionally you can tell if your license is for Windows or OS X based on the last letter in the serial number.

With the release of SketchUp Pro 2015 every license is platform agnostic and will work with either Windows or OS X, these licenses end with R.
If you're seeing an error message when trying to apply your SketchUp license please let us know by attaching a screenshot when submitting your support request using this form.
If you're using SketchUp in either Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8 please note that you must right-click the SketchUp icon and choose to "Run as an Administrator" if you plan to apply your license. Subsequent use of the software doesn't require this step.

If the options to apply your license are greyed out under the Help menu then your installation of SketchUp Pro is either corrupt or you currently have SketchUp Make installed. Please download and install the current Pro version here.
