SketchUp for Schools System Requirements

To start using SketchUp for Schools, you need the following:

  • A Google for Education or Microsoft Education Account. This account must be affiliated with a primary or secondary school and will be used to deploy and login to SketchUp.
  • An Internet Connection – SketchUp for Schools is a browser-based application. You must be online to use it and have a reliable connection. SketchUp recommends that you have a connection with at least 10 Mbps upload and download speeds.
  • A Compatible Web Browser – SketchUp for Schools depends on technology that requires a certain level of browser support. Recommended browsers include the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, and Edge. SketchUp for Schools will work with Safari, but it is not recommended.
  • Mouse and Keyboard Input – SketchUp for Schools works best with a keyboard and has input modes for both a 3-button mouse and trackpad.

To support SketchUp for Schools it is recommended that computers or Chromebooks meet the following minimum system requirements:
