Plan Management

The Trimble Account Management Portal (AMP) provides all the tools needed to change and manage SketchUp subscription plans in the Plan Settings section.

Changing Your Subscription Plan

Only an Account Owner can update a subscription plan. For both plan upgrades and downgrades, use the following steps:

  1. Click Plan Settings and locate the subscription plan to update.
  2. In the upper-right corner of that plan, click Edit Plan Settings.

  3. Click Manage Plan to change all seats associated with that subscription plan. Click Manage Seats to change only a selection of seats.
  4. Select a new subscription plan and click Continue.

  5. A confirmation window will appear. Clicking Yes opens the Shopping Cart.
  6. Review what is in the cart and select Checkout.
  7. Confirm the entered payment information and agree to the Terms and Conditions before clicking Submit.
  8. A confirmation message appears along with a confirmation email. The link in the email opens the AMP.
Tip: Turning off auto-renew when changing plans can help avoid being charged for two plans at the same time.

Annual SketchUp Plan Upgrades

When upgrading from one annual subscription plan to another, a prorated amount from the original plan will be applied to the cost of the upgraded plan based on the term date. This prorated amount appears during checkout. The upgraded product will be available immediately after purchase. If the new subscription benefits aren’t immediately available, please logout and log back in.

Annual SketchUp Plan Downgrades

When downgrading an annual subscription to another annual subscription plan, make sure auto-renew is on. Downgrades only take effect after the end of the current subscription period. On the auto-renew date, the plan will renew using the new downgraded plan's price. Changing from an annual plan to a monthly plan should only be done at the end of the annual subscription.

Monthly SketchUp Plan Upgrades

In addition to an annual plan, SketchUp Go also offers a monthly subscription option. To upgrade from a monthly plan to an annual plan the account owner must turn off auto-renew for the current monthly plan and purchase a new annual subscription from the Plans and Pricing page. The new annual plan will be prorated to the end of the current monthly term and will renew at the yearly rate when that term ends.

Note: To change a monthly subscription purchased through the Apple App Store, see the SketchUp for iPad Frequently Asked Questions.

Auto-Renewal Settings

To enable or disable your plan's autorenewal follow these steps:

  1. Locate the plan you would like to adjust and click Edit Plan Settings.

  2. In the Edit Plan modal, select Manage Auto-Renewal.

  3. Use the toggle to enable or disable auto-renewal and click Done.

Warning: Disabling auto-renew does not cancel a subscription plan and will not trigger a refund. For more information see Refunds and Cancellations.

When enabled, the plan will automatically renew on the renewal date. If disabled, all products and features in that plan are available for the rest of the remaining subscription term. When a plan is not renewed at the end of a subscription term, all access subscription products and features will no longer be available.

Renewals that fail due to a failed transaction receive a 5-day grace period until services are terminated. A message will appear in SketchUp advising of that subscriptions pending expiration.
