Effective June 12th, the system requirements for 3D Warehouse will change, as noted below. Please prepare yourself accordingly.

An update to external systems has left the 3D Warehouse accessible from either a modern web browser, or by using the 3D Warehouse browser within the SketchUp application. Depending on your platform and usage, you’ll have some different technical requirements.

Web Browsers

You can browse the 3D Warehouse from any modern web browser (see list below), choosing to view, upload models or download existing models for use in SketchUp. Due to changes in web standards over time, the supported browsers will change.

To access 3D Warehouse content you’ll need a recent version of:

  • Firefox
  • Safari
  • Microsoft Edge

Note that Microsoft Internet Explorer is no longer supported.

SketchUp Desktop Version

With the release of SketchUp 2017 we started including a browser within the software which more modern technologies. If you’re using SketchUp 2017 or newer, you’ll be able to access the full suite of 3D Warehouse features. If you’re using 2016 or earlier, on Windows, you’ll no longer be able to access the 3D Warehouse.

SketchUp Web Version

Note that the SketchUp Web version has the same browser requirements as 3D Warehouse. If you can use the Web version, you can access 3D Warehouse.
