SketchUp allows you to import and export Collada (DAE) files. Collada files are XML files with a .dae extension which stands for "Digital Asset Exchange." Collada is typically the file format used to transfer data between digital content creation (DCC) tools such as SketchUp and Maya, 3ds Max, and Rhino.
